Electricity

Please note that the site has no electricity, but the stove, fridge and water heater are powered by propane gas, while the interior lights and water pump are powered by solar panels.

It’s important to keep a window open at all times and ensure that gas taps are closed when not in use, as many appliances run on propane gas.

In addition, the gas fridge thermostat is fragile, so we recommend that you keep it separate from your drinks to keep your food cool.

We recommend that you take along a cooler with ice or reusable ice bags to keep your beer supplies cold, especially if you’re planning to party for several days.

Water quality

The water in our cottages is not potable, but is suitable for washing up, rinsing and showering.

Garbages

The environment is important to us, which is why we ask all customers to return their waste to the designated areas: reception or sanitary depot. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hunting policies

Wildlife is our greatest asset, and we take it very seriously. That’s why we recommend that you shoot on target to avoid injuring animals. If an animal is wounded and not found, your hunt will stop immediately until the outfitter decides otherwise. Game must be registered at the main lodge.

It is strictly forbidden to shoot :

  • Cow moose;
  • Calf moose;
  • Male moose aged 1 and a half years (male with pallet aged 2.5 years minimum).

Any hunter who kills a moose in any of the above categories will automatically be assessed a penalty of $2,000.00. The objective of this policy is to maximize the possibility of harvesting a mature moose year after year.

For bear hunting, it is strictly forbidden to shoot a female with cubs of the year or aged less than 1 1/2 years. A fine of $1,000 will be imposed for non-compliance with this clause.
