Cottage amenities

Good to know
All our cottages are located on or near the waterfront, in a peaceful and rustic setting. They are equipped to ensure a comfortable stay: shower, toilet, hot water, toilet paper, dishes, refrigerator, wood stove, firewood, and BBQ..
Depending on the package chosen, a 14-foot gasoline-powered rowboat may be included, at the rate of one boat per two adults.
Nos chalets de location sont facilement accessibles en voiture et comprennent tout le nécessaire pour un séjour simple et agréable, en nature.
Equipment provided in the cottages:
• Shower and toilet (except De l’école cottage and Du gardien cottage: toilet only, community shower available near the lodge)
• Refrigerator with freezer
• Conventional oven
• Wood stove
• Outdoor BBQ (propane gas provided)
• Sofas
• Tableware (utensils, pans, pots)
• Kettle, colander, chopping board
• Sponge and dish soap
• Hand soap
• Garbage bags
• Firewood
• Mattresses
• Toilet paper
• Fire extinguisher
Please note that the site is not connected to conventional electricity. The cooker, refrigerator and water heater run on propane gas, while the interior lighting and water pump are powered by solar energy.
Remember to keep a window slightly open at all times and to close the gas taps tightly when not in use, as several appliances run on propane.
We recommend bringing a cooler with ice or reusable ice packs—a practical solution for keeping your drinks cold, especially on hot days or if you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors.
Free wifi available directly at our inn.
Electricity
Please note that the site has no electricity, but the stove, fridge and water heater are powered by propane gas, while the interior lights and water pump are powered by solar panels.
It's important to keep a window open at all times and ensure that gas taps are closed when not in use, as many appliances run on propane gas.
In addition, the gas fridge thermostat is fragile, so we recommend that you keep it separate from your drinks to keep your food cool.
We recommend that you take along a cooler with ice or reusable ice bags to keep your beer supplies cold, especially if you're planning to party for several days.
Water quality
The running water in the cottage comes directly from the lake or a natural well, depending on the area. It is not treated.
It is suitable for showering, washing dishes and cooking, but we recommend that you bring drinking water for consumption.
Garbages
In order to preserve the natural beauty of our territory, we ask all our visitors to take their rubbish with them at the end of their stay.
No rubbish collection service is provided on site.
Thank you for helping to keep the area clean and respecting the environment around us.
